Gateway Games 2024 officially commenced today in a spectacular opening ceremony, bringing together top government officials, sports icons, and dignitaries to celebrate sports and youth development in Ogun State.
The event was declared open by His Excellency, Vice President Kashim Shettima (GCON), who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR). In his address, the Vice President emphasized the importance of sports in fostering national unity, excellence, and youth empowerment.
