The National Convention Organizing Committee (NCOC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the postponement of the screening exercise for aspirants ahead of the party’s 2025 Elective National Convention.

The screening, which was earlier scheduled to hold on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, has been put on hold due to unforeseen circumstances. According to a statement issued by the Committee, a new date for the exercise will be communicated in due course.

The NCOC expressed regret over any inconvenience the postponement may cause to aspirants and party members, urging them to remain calm and guided accordingly.

Despite the shift in the screening schedule, the Committee reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a credible and hitch-free National Convention slated for Saturday, 15th to Sunday, 16th November 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The statement was signed by the Chairman of the NCOC and Executive Governor of Adamawa State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
