The Government of Osun State has officially launched the Imole Free Wi-Fi Initiative, a strategic project aimed at expanding digital access and supporting education, employment, healthcare, and community safety across the state.

Through this initiative, residents can now enjoy free internet connectivity at designated locations including:

  • Osun State Library
  • Alphastart Hub
  • Osun Mall
  • Salvation Army Middle School
  • Osogbo Grammar School
  • Ministry of Innovation, Science, Technology, and Digital Economy sites

Speaking on the initiative, the Ministry of Innovation, Science, Technology, and Digital Economy emphasized that the project is part of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s vision to democratize access to technology and bridge the digital divide within the state.

The provision of free Wi-Fi at strategic community, learning, and innovation centers will empower students, entrepreneurs, researchers, and the general public to explore the limitless opportunities of the digital economy.

The Imole Free Wi-Fi project will be rolled out in phases, with additional locations across the state set to be connected in the coming months, ensuring that both urban and rural communities benefit.
